Environmental Enclosures and Rooms

The systems featured on this website have been designed by Graham Bowers a forward thinking mechanical design engineer and consultant, who has applied the design principles, knowledge and experience gained over the last forty + years in the aeronautics, medical equipment and audio industries into the two featured systems.
By embracing all that is new in manufacturing technology and aesthetics, taking advantage of the advances of Computer Numerically Controlled machinery and processes, whilst maintaining a solid stance through the knowledge of manufacturing and installation reality, the designs have culminated in satisfying the following criteria:

  • flexible and expandable system
  • cost effective
  • ease of manufacture and installation
  • meeting all known requirements and standards

Having now reached retirement age he is looking for the right company or organisation with interests in this area of industry to exploit both systems to their full potential.

The Bowers Modular System has been proven on several projects in the United Kingdom and abroad. The system has been designed with expansion and diversity of use in mind. Originally designed for the building of Operating Theatres, it soon became apparent that the design of the patented panel joint satisfied the criteria necessary for RF Shielded Rooms, as well as MRI/PET/CAT and X-Ray Scanning Rooms. The system's extensive documentation covers all the usual industrial standards, including manufacturing and assembly drawings in both 2D and 3D, Drawing Register, Bills of Materials and design templates.

Whilst designing specialist operating theatre suites, it was apparent that there was room for improvement in the provision of field hospital facilities. The system, Wishbone, incorporates the design principles of aeronautical, structural and production engineering. The sophisticated, hi-tech and ergonomic system is well suited to high volume production, is easily transportable, and is simple and quick to build.

Overviews of both systems are available on DVD, for more information please contact us.
